Sim will be featured in the upcoming “Porchlight Sessions” documentary which investigates American music culture with a fresh perspective through musicians, radio and impromptu conversations with artists and the fans that follow them. Sim is feathered in his role as a Luthier, instrument repairman & musician. He tells how he came to the US & became a world renown mandolin builder and one of the “go to” repairmen in Nashville, TN.
The documentary is reported to be airing to 26 million people & is sponsored by the documentary channel. There are plans to debut the documentary at the Cannes International film festival as well as the Sundance film festival.

Dan stepped ever more deeply into the popular conscience as the singing voice of George Clooney in the Coen Brothers’ Odyssean farce,
